The holiday cottage is located 1 mile from Betws-y-Coed and has views across fields and forest towards Moel Siabod (see photo on right). From this self catering accommodation you can explore the many attractions and activities that Snowdonia and the rest of North Wales have to offer:

The cottage is in a peaceful location on a 71 acre smallholding above the village of Betws-y-Coed. There are private woodlands which guests can walk in.

From the map above it can be seen that this holiday cottage is ideally located for visiting the many tourist attractions of Snowdonia and North Wales, including historic castles, steam railways and the world famous village at Portmeirion.

There are plenty of shops and attractions in Betws-y-Coed which is a 15 minute walk from the cottage, as well as places to eat. There is also a pub serving food in the village of Capel Garmon about 1 mile away.

The area is perfect for walkers with walks in the nearby Gwydir Forest and the mountains of Snowdonia. There are numerous other activities catered for in the area including climbing, mountain biking, birdwatching and fishing. The Marin Trail mountain biking complex is just across the valley from the cottage.

There are also many places to visit within easy reach of the cottage including attractions such as Bodnant Garden, Conwy and Caernarfon Castles, and the Victorian resort of Llandudno. For those who enjoy steam railways the Snowdon Mountain Railway, Ffestiniog Railway and Welsh Highland Railway are all within easy reach. Or you could just relax and enjoy the stunning local scenery of the lakes and mountains of Snowdonia, and the beaches of the North Wales coast and Anglesey.
